It seriously sucks in many ways! Too bad because the story idea was actually pretty interesting. But despite its flaws, it had been very enjoyable to watch! The characters had been fun, and I really like the comedy!
Rating: C- SO-SO! Very average and typical whatever!
The story revolves around high school student Akira Nikaido, a typical slacker living a normal life. That is, until he meets the mysterious Shirogane, a man who suddenly appears and tells him that they have a destiny together. When Akira hears this, he is shocked and doesn’t believe a word of it. Aya, a friend of Akira, forgets something in the school one night, and asks Akira to help her and go find it. He agrees, and while there, he gets attacked by a shadow monster. Shirogane convinces him that the balance between the human world and the shadow world has been distorted and that Akira must become a “shin”- a creature of the shadow world- in order to help restore the balance. The anime has shonen-ai themes which are completely absent from the manga. (Wikipedia)

This story is one of my favorites during childhood and recently I got curious on what the original material was like. It didn’t exactly meet my expectations though, but it had been pretty impressive. It’s certainly a wonderful story!
Rating: B- NICE! It had been really fun!
The story concerns Tom Canty, a poor boy, who bears a striking resemblance to Prince Edward, heir to the throne of England. Through a series of mishaps, the boys change places, and those around them do not believe them when they each claim to be the other boy. Eventually, all ends well, with Edward restored to the throne and Tom retaining a place in his court. (School Library Journal)

Takemoto Yuuta, Mayama Takumi, and Morita Shinobu are college students who share the small apartment. Even though they live in poverty, the three of them are able to obtain pleasure through small things in life. The story follows these characters’ life stories as poor college students, as well as their love lives when a short but talented 18 year old girl called Hanamoto Hagumi appears. (Anime News Network)
I wouldn’t be able to imagine this possible in the past, but well, for a shoujo-ai/yuri hater I was actually amused with this series!
Rating: C+ NOT BAD! Better than I expected!
The story centers on a sophomore named Kanako who is allergic to men to the point of breaking out in hives any time she comes in contact with one. She enrolls in the same all girls school where her own parents met, Ame no Kisaki, because she wants to find her destined yuri (lesbian) partner. She meets a captivating freshman named Mariya who fits her criteria — except her seemingly ideal mate happens to be a cross-dressing sadistic boy. (MyAnimeList)
It’s a little slow and some events are kinds typical. Nevertheless, it’s one of the greatest space opera anime I’ve ever seen! I am really impressed and I love it!
